Abraham Lincoln's Integrity

                             Abraham Lincoln's Integrity

Abraham once traveled with colonel, colonel had offered him whiskey, Abraham said "No' in a very polite way. They stopped a some place colonel asked once again if he would like to have a drink with him and smoke, Abraham said that he would smoke with him after he to him a little story/experience that he had as a little kid .... he said that his mother was very ill and would not make it she asked him to keep a promise and that promise was to not drink whiskey or smoke tobacco once for his entire life. He has kept that promise since. This relates to me because I have made promises and kept them till this day even though their are temptations i hold back and make sure i don't make a mistake and end up doing the wrong thing. All you have to do is think ahead of time, think of the consequences, make sure you are doing the right thing.
