This statement is saying that if you hang out with the right crowd you will be choosing the right and the right path but if you hang out with the wrong crowd you will be choosing the wrong and going through the wrong path. So you should always hangout with the people who choose the right because they influence you to do the right instead of the wrong. If you hangout with the wrong crowd you it might affect your future badly. For an example if you start hanging out with the wrong crowd, they pressure you to get a tattoo so you go ahead and get the tattoo thinking that it won't affect you future. One day as you grown older you will realize that you need a job. You go to a job interview and as they are interviewing you they see you have a tattoo, they get a bad impression about you. They no longer want to hire you as one of their employees. So hanging out with the wrong crowd will impact your future. Why not just prevent that and hang out with the right crowd, the crowd that chooses the right all the time or at least most of the time. If you ever get pressured by your "friends" to do something bad you now know you are hanging out with the wrong crowd. If you are hanging out with the wrong crowd its time to start and look for some new friends. Start looking for someone that are always choosing the right or at least most of the time. You will know that they are choosing the right because they seem happy and friendly. The people who are choosing the right will be wise and if you choose them as your new group of friends they will grow wise with you. I think it is important to choose the right group of friends in order to be happy and have a successful future.
